So last night, Mike and I took the bus to Harvard Square (I love being able to get to all these great places so easily and not have to worry about parking!). We were going to try out a new restaurant a friend had recommended. The menu seemed alright, but this was an overdue-muchneeded-kind of date night. So we decided to walk around and check out a few other places, when we found the one - the red house. It's outdoor dining and bar drew us in, plus it was a beautiful night! The food & drink did not dissapoint! In fact, I just keep thinking what a great date it was :)
Each table had its own potted plant. The wooden tables and folding chairs were charming themselves. We were seated in a great spot for people watching, something we are both very good at!
I love these menus! All different floral and textured designs... such a cute idea!

Raspberry lime rickey... perfect size, perfect taste.
For an appetizer we tried the eggplant Contadina with basil oil. Thick roasted eggplant with tomato, fresh mozzarella, and parmesan stacked on top....so good!
This might be my new favorite spot!
Harvard Square... loving all the people out and about!
